About

A practice built on care, curiosity and time.

Meet Stephen Allcock, and the philosophy behind a considered private health practice in the heart of London.

Portrait of Stephen Allcock

The Practitioner

A quieter kind of medicine.

Stephen Allcock founded his private practice out of a straightforward conviction: that health, at its best, is the outcome of attention. Attention to how you sleep, how you eat, how you breathe, how you meet the day.

Over more than a decade of clinical work, Stephen has cared for professionals, parents, athletes and creatives — each arriving with a different story, but often the same question: how do I feel like myself again?

His answer is never rushed. Consultations are unhurried by design, and every recommendation is built for the life you actually live, not an idealised one.

Philosophy

Four commitments to every client.

01

Listen first, always.

Every plan begins with your story. Symptoms are read in context — never treated as isolated events.

02

Bridge science and tradition.

Modern evidence and time-honoured practices are equal partners in the work we do together.

03

Small, sustainable steps.

Lasting change is made of consistent, gentle actions — not dramatic overhauls that fade in a month.

04

Discretion and trust.

A private practice is a private conversation. Confidentiality is absolute.
